The first session typically lasts 45–60 minutes. It is an open, relaxed space where we can talk about what brings you here, your goals, and how therapy might be helpful for you. We will also discuss practical aspects such as scheduling, fees, confidentiality, and any questions you may have — with no obligation to continue beyond this initial meeting.

Everything you share in therapy is confidential, with very few exceptions. These include situations in which there is a serious risk to your safety or to the safety of others, or when there is a legal obligation to disclose information. I explain these limits clearly from the outset, so you are always informed and reassured.

Yes — therapy is your choice at every stage. Some people come for only a few sessions, while others choose to continue for a longer period. If you are considering stopping because of discomfort, disappointment, or a misunderstanding, it can be helpful to talk about it together first. Working through these moments can become a meaningful opportunity for growth.

Sì — la terapia è una tua scelta in ogni fase. Alcuni pazienti restano solo per poche sedute, altri preferiscono proseguire più a lungo. Se però pensi di interrompere a causa di un dispiacere o di un’incomprensione, può essere utile parlarne insieme prima: elaborare questi momenti può diventare un’occasione di crescita molto significativa.

What is the cancellation policy? /Come funzionano le cancellazioni?

If a session is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or in the case of a missed appointment, the full session fee applies. With at least 24 hours’ notice, the appointment may be rescheduled within two weeks of the original date, with no penalty.

Se la seduta viene annullata con meno di 24 ore di preavviso, oppure in caso di mancata presenza, è richiesto il pagamento dell’intera tariffa. Con almeno 24 ore di preavviso è invece possibile riprogrammare l’appuntamento entro due settimane dalla data originale, senza alcuna penale.
